REST incorrectly toggling based on presence of text box in cutscenes. #6

When viewing cutscenes, when either a dialog box (pictured) or a system prompt (e.g. the skip dialog) is onscreen, the lighting shifts dramatically. This occurs at all gamma levels and on all presets tested (though to varying degrees based on how contrast-y the preset is). The textbox is not appearing in the ReShade statistics window.

I have to confess I don't understand how to toggle the different pixel shaders and whatnot, which I expect would be where I might find the solution. Is there a particular shader I need to reconfigure? Which one? And how should I set it?

This is happening to me too, glad I am not going crazy.
