The issue is that the inverter CANNOT measure the grid current/power. The solar power is the dc power produced by the array. The second power is the ac power which the inverter produced by converting the input dc power (which is why they are approximately equal, and a little less than solar power, since efficiency of inverter is not 100%). Therefore you can not treat this power as grid power.
