The undo command does not undo last filtering and instead undoes the wrong command #9

If I were to filter the list successfully, and then run undo, it will undo the command before filter instead of undoing the filtering.

Steps to create:

  1. run any command, for eg. markallp 3

  1. filter by some tag, for eg. filter family

  1. run undo

expected: to undo the filtering

but actual: undid the marking of participation.

I believe that this would cause inconvenience as they will now have to redo the command they just undo-ed unintentionally and still not able to undo the filter command as expected. This was also not documented under the user guide well so there is no way for user to know about this functionality issue.

Team's Response

It was stated in the UG that the undo command will only work for commands that changed data. Since the filter command does not change any data, it is expected that the undo command would not undo it. Hence this bug is invalid. photo_2024-04-21 14.09.30.jpeg
