Closed webtoria closed 7 years ago

webtoria commented 7 years ago

I have a problem with the queue, and it does not advance me. I close and reopen and always pick only the first but never advance beyond the first of the queue

The links are from albums imgur

We need more data. 'Latest' ain't valid.

1) The links you tried, regardless of whether they worked in any way. You can open the history.json file in same folder as RipMe. 2) What OS and release ? 3) What Java release ? Fastest way on any system is running the command java -version 4) What RipMe release ?

Windows 10, RipMe 1.4.19

Updated my post with instructions for getting the links and for Java version fetching.

91 is old, 131 is newest. http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html is where you can get the newest. Be sure to grab the one with correct bit width; 64-bit for 64-bit OS, 32-bit aka x86 for 32-bit. You can confirm that by right-click on 'Computer' -> Properties. It'll say System type: 64-bit Operating System for 64-bit Window$.

First uninstall all previous Java versions to avoid any problems, which are more than plentiful on Win10, then install the new one. Knowing Win10 is a good-for-nothing piece of shit, a reboot before installing the new Java version wouldn't hurt, might even fix or prevent something.

@rautamiekka Can we keep the hate language out of threads trying to help users with a problem? Regardless of your personal or others' experience with a platform, the platforms all continue to exist and be supported by this app. Please simply do your best to help understand and resolve users' problems on whatever platform they are on. Thank you.
