There was a commit back in January to havsfunc that made vsutil a required dependency.

NOTE: r33 Is not compatible with newer versions of vapoursynth (starting at r57) See: havsfunc issue 44

In the end, I end up making a new release that's up to date with HEAD and removing the old one, thx for pointing this out.
