Reg: Opacity problem and Italic Problem for Text in chrome #1203

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.I change text opacity for text and at that same time i change italic font 
weight in text in Chrome but, The last letter will cut off and it will shown 
like Half letter.?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I need exact Text with italic font weight and opacity changes. 

In what browser did you experience this problem? (ALL, Firefox, Opera, etc)
Chrome 34.0.1847.116

In what version of SVG-edit does the problem occur? (Latest trunk, 2.5.1,
etc)

SVG EDITOR 2.4

Please provide any additional information below.

Can you please be more precise about what opacity you use, whether you only 
change to italic or also use bold (italic is not related to font weight, but 
bold is). Also, do you see the problem in Trunk? Version 2.4 is 3 versions 
ago...
