Editor does not Images from client's desktop #1253

Hi, 

I want to upload images from my desktop from the canvas such as my logo or my 
pic and then use it as my part of design. 

Note: I am not trying to edit the jpeg/png image in the editor. I want to 
simply add images to my drawing. For e.g I am preparing a sign template for my 
client using the svg editor but in that drawing I also add couple of pics so my 
drawing looks complete.

Therefore, can you guide me or show me the way to make this possible?
