As an optional "number of columns" option, defaults to 1.
so by default, its set to 1 and the roster displays as normal, one sub-tree per row.
If you set that number to say, 2, it'd show you two sub-trees per row.
As an example, the squads are all currently set up with sub-tree's for the teams, I'd set each squad tree's column number to 2, and it'd display the teams side by side.
