Maybe your router isn't that powerful. It could also be that the router has set 
upload and download limits. And then there's always the possibility you don't 
have very high speed Internet.

I've seen 700+ Kbps on iPad. It doesn't seem to have that problem, it's most 
likely your configuration or seeders you are downloading from. If you are 
limiting your upload it's very likely the peers limiting their speed based on 
yours
