It would be great, since proxy support was added to TmissionRemoteGui, if TRG 
could use
proxy settings when trying to check for a new version!  (Currently only gives 
"timed out").

Would need option to specify whether or not 
TRG would use proxy in checking for updates that is _separate_ from using a 
proxy to contact transmission.

I.e. I don't need a proxy to connect to transmission, as it is inside my 
firewall (another machine), BUT if I ask TRG to check for updates, it comes 
back and says it timed out looking for updates.
