Crash on directory sub directory downloads #773

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Setup path as /Volumes/External Raid=\\macmini\External Raid
2.Downloads to this path work as intended, but sub directories (ex
/Volumes/External Raid/Music) do not work and result in crash. Even adding
these as static paths on a seperate line also cause crash.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
a download to function in the subdirectory of the path

output as follows on remote gui:
Dialog: Torrent already exist in the list: Update trackers for the existing
torrent? Yes/No

output on transmission server:
http://pastebin.com/ecFUXN1P

error that crashes transmission client

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
transmission 2.82 on mac
transmission remote gui 5.0.1 for windows

Please provide any additional information below.
everything else seems to work flawless but this is a dealbreaker for me as I
still have to remote in and sort it. I may as well remote in and add the
torrent to the correct download location.

Also note this torrent was not in the list, and this was tested with multiple
new torrents.

this is a problem that is not with 5.0.1 remote gui. I think submit to
https://trac.transmissionbt.com/report/9 as its with them.

My opinion is transmisiion v2.82 is not good. And you should use v2.77 and I
can point you to a very stable unofficial fork for that if you want.
