Modified code to make it work inside jboss (EAP 6.4)

@pakmans Thanks for your interest in contributing to this project! The code is part of the 52°North managed codebase. To integrate you code, which we would really like to do (!), you need to sign (on paper) and send (via regular mail) a contributor license agreement. @autermann You would need some time to test this I assume? Also, we should create a dev branch...
