My device uses i5 8365u and it goes hot so fast even though I'm just using Chrome and not running any project. Can't view the CPU temperature number in stats application. I don't know why, any suggestion for this one, should I generate another CPUFriend kext

Transparencyd is running at 109%…

Just wait until it has done whatever it needs to do.

it's done but still gets quite hot, How can I get the temperature to show up in the Stats application? Then I can show you the correct number of the temperature.

Replace the CPUFriendDateProvider.kext with this one:

CPUFriendDataProvider.kext.zip

I used CPUFriendFriend to generate the kext and I've noticed that selecting the additional tweak to reduce power in video playback etc. actually causes he CPU to ramp up to ramp up more when playing back YouTube than not enabling this feature.
