So I finally got Visual Studio Code working on Linux, not having used it before. I compiled the app, and found it fascinating, as I never used cairo to draw directly on screen before. I have used cairo to generate pdfs.

If you don't mind me asking, do you live in the USA? FYI, I do. What deposit slips do you use, plain paper or ???

@benreu a) I live in the USA. b) I use paper deposit slips because my bank charges $18 for each electronic deposit on business accounts, far above my meager business income. Thank you for your interest!

But what do you print the deposit slip on, a 8.5" x 11" paper, or a pre-printed template of some kind?

I just fill in the bank supplied deposit slips right now (handwritten), but it is something that would be nice to automate. I don't use an electronic deposit option, and neither do I know if my bank has some charge on it.

I print it on a paper deposit slip, 6" x 2¾". The blank deposit slip is pre-populated with the bank's routing number.
