I find it challenging that all the views offered by this gadget fill the screen
with notifications of 'no events'.
A very valuable behaviour would be to allow the user to show only days which
have scheduled events. In my case, I have dragged the gadget to full height and
it's still only showing four single-line events, along with about 20 lines of
day names and the phrase 'no events'.
One of the advantages of a digital calendar is not to have to print/look at
blank pages, so this behaviour replicates the worst of paper calendars for no
reason.
I can't see any advantage to the current default, especially given empty days
are not even visually differentiated in color or highlighted.
I can't find any Google Calendar gadget which is better, though. They all seem
to use the same codebase.
