What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Anytime trying to log in via sidebar to install google calendar widget
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Log into google calendar.  yellow sign that says I don't have access to google 
calendar.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.0.2.  Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.

I too am having this issue.  Cannot access google calendar via Google Desktop 
on the sidebar.  I can login elsewhere just fine. Turned off two-factor 
authentication and still no success.
