Monitoring "hangs" on disconnect #2

Hi. Great little tool, on the surface at least it was just what I was looking
for. But a few little niggles.
#1 - When a disconnect occurs, the program seems to hang, and only pick up /
report the problem after quite a delay - which prevents accurate
timing/reporting of problems.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run the monitor
2. Wait for a disconnect to occur
3. Observe discontinuity in monitoring

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect monitoring to continue on a regular, heartbeat basis, reporting
disconnections when appropriate. Instead, the program appears to hang for some
time before reporting the problem.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
V1.20. Windows 7. Both Windows and Java up to date.

Please provide any additional information below.
See attached screenshot.

Loves this tool thanks. One question does it have to be an http:// target or
can it just be a IP address? Also can you add more server lines? I would love
to be able to ping my Wifi AP, my Router, my WISP, my ISP, and the internet at
once.

I'm experiencing this same issue with ICM v1.4 on Win7-64, Java 1.7.0_25_b17.
My ICM stopped logging at 10:59am today (2013-08-01) and it is now 2:39pm and
it is still stopped. My internet connect indeed did go down this morning, but
it came back up about 5 minutes later. I had hoped this tool would capture the
disconnects and log them so that I could show it to Comcast and perhaps map out
a pattern of when my access has been disconnecting. It has been really
intermittent the past week or so.
