Bulk Storage Monitor #9

Hey, great mod, i just got a small suggestion.

I'm just starting out with the bulk item storage cells and i would love to have some kind of bulk storage monitor, which shows what my bulk storage cells are holding, maybe add functionality to easily partition them. An option for the easier partitioning would be to show all items in your system that are currently not stored in bulk storage sorted by the current amount.

Thank you for your work!

Interesting, how do you mean?

If you're hoping for a block/part to display the quantity of an item in storage, the ME Storage Monitor already exists for that purpose as part of AE2 and can be configured by right-clicking with the desired item to display. Otherwise, I'd like to clarify what exactly you'd like from the bulk cell.

My idea was to have a monitor, that shows all the bulk cells that you currently have in your system. Preferably with the ability to:

  1. Show which Item Types are stored in deep storage
  2. Show which Item Types are in your ME System, but not stored in deep storage (sorted by number of items)
  3. Assign Items to specific deep storage cells

As it is right now, i'm trying to set up deep storage for a couple of my most common items and i keep running from my ME Drive to the terminal trying to remember which items i already have in deep storage and which i still need to put in.

An alternative would maybe be a small simbol that shows which item is in deep storage, like the small "+" you can see if you have the autocraft pattern in your system.

you can already do 1, and 2 with a regular crafting or storage terminal with viewing cells, tho its a bit more involved then just putting a part down i suppose. having the ability to quickly and easily partition another bulk items cell from any unused one in a network would be nice, tho this would also have to try to move every item in the system to the bulk cell or you would have to just take out the cell and run it through an IO port anyway and at that point why not just use a cell work bench
