I realized that the availabilitiy period looks odd. Wasn't there proper data in earlier?

Yes I had put data in there bt it got overwritten by someone

That must have been me when I was trying to fix the tent01_camp typo. I must have done this from the older copy of rof_object_properties that I have been using to report on the 1916 campaign (which is where I originally found and fixed the typo).

Feel free to restore a version that has the correct dates and I'll fix the typo in that version... or you can fix it for me... The 'object type' column is missing the '0' in tent01 camp... the incorrect version is 'type 1 camp'.

I just checked the history of the rof_object_properties.sql file and find that Stenka overwrote the dates 16 days ago in his massive 'Through to Mission Build' update. I had used a later version of that file for my fix. We'll have to go back to the version just before that and then fix both the G8 and tent01_camp.

I'll work on it.

OK, I found the April 2 version of rof_object_properties.sql has the most complete dates of introduction that I could find, so I uploaded that version after adding the latest changes for G8 and the tent typo.

Closing this issue.

Had to reopen due to 2 pictures missing: Sopwith Strutter Sopwith Strutter B

I cannot find them in the preview folder of my game. Can you check if you have them? Due to the db the filenames should be sopstr sopstrb

No, I don't have them. I do have the pup, camel and dolphin, all dated 5Jan2014 which is only a couple of weeks after the strutter was released.

The Strutter thumbnails are not on my systems. It is a bug of ROF. Either make thumbnails our leave it till they get fixed

Do we have permission to use these copyrighted images?

We could avoid distributing them by simply pointing to the ones in the game distribution. It would be an extra setup question... where is the RoF/BoS home directory? Then we point to its thumbnails.

Can we make sure BOSWAR will always run on a system having RoF or BoS installed?

We could make it a requirement to have either RoF or BoS installed. Once you have a RoF or BoS license you can install it on as many machines as you'd like.

Do not add limitations to Boswar, it should work with or without ROF/BOS installed keep life simple.

Dont worry about copyrighted images from RoF/Bos.

777 are fully aware of what we are developing and that it is non-profit, they are supplying us with pre release software and I am on their Beta test team.

If they were to complain about us copying their thumbnails we would simply delete them from the directory and our software would still work that would take 10 minutes. We would then repopulate images from screenshots - which would take a day.
