For the static planes I described the blocks as 'parked Yak9' or 'parked Bf109' to distinguish them from 'active' planes. For the vehicles, the only distinction is that they are described less precisely (actually the planes are also described less precisely also... the static versions don't distinguish between F and G variants, for example.)
From Tushkas note on supply points I have realised that in BOS we have planes and vehicles as blocks with which to decorate the countryside in an economical low cpu usage manner. These can be catered for as objects within a static and thus given a name.
Think about are there implications in stats recording between destroying a block 109 as opposed to a real air 109 or block truck as opposed to a vehicle truck?
If I was being realy clever I would swap my vehicle truck for a block truck if the column was not moving. Think I won't be clever today, there are more pressing issues.
Need to watch if they give us most vehicles as vehicle and block. For the moment it just seems to be airfield decoration objects.
