I think it would be quite convenient if the user could longpress on a group and would get a context menu with the option to add a contact to that group.
Maybe it would be nice to use the current AddContactDialog simply with a prefilled group EditText field. This would enable the user to change his mind while adding the contact and would be a consistent UX.
