K8S Migration #38

Objective

To migrate various services from the existing deployment on the jtchance server to the traycer Kubernetes (k8s) cluster.

Key Focus

  1. Ensuring a seamless transfer of all listed services.
  2. Validating the functionality of each service in a staging environment before the final DNS cutover.

Services to be Transferred

Deliverables

  1. Set up staging versions of all the services listed above on the traycer k8s cluster.
  2. Confirm the functionality of each staging setup.
  3. Execute the final DNS cutover to complete the migration.

Precautions

Before initiating the final transfer, each service must be tested in the staging environment to ensure that it functions as expected.

By completing this migration, we aim to achieve a more robust and scalable infrastructure, while ensuring that all services continue to operate smoothly during and after the transition.
