Unable to use chrome browser to work #129

Operating system :Win 7
.Net Framework version : 4.5
Office Version : 2010
SeleniumWrapper version : 1.0.23.0

What is your issue ?
I am unable to use chrome broswer(Latest of today) to run the selenium-vba 
commands.

However, I can get firefox to work.

Please refer to the attached screenshots.

P.S. I am able to make it work on the different machine previously though.

Which version of chrome is installed?
Is it a 32 or 64 bit office?
Have you checked that your firewall is not blocking "chromedriver.exe" ?

I have the same problem with Chrome and Firefox. The last time it worked was 
1/6/2015. Maybe it has something to do with the latest Microsoft Windows 
Updates?

OS: Win7 (64-bit)
Office: 2007 (32-bit)
.Net Framework: 4.5.1, 4.5.2
SeleniumWrapper version : 1.0.23.0
Chrome: 39.0.2171.99 m (32-bit)
Firefox: 37a2

The latest Selenium framework (2.44) is not compatible with Firefox 35 and 
superior.
The reason is this unresolved issue: 
https://code.google.com/p/selenium/issues/detail?id=8390
So the only way to keep it working is to downgrade to Firefox 34 and disable 
the automatic updates :
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/34.0b11/win32/

As for chrome there's a new driver compatible with the latest version:
http://chromedriver.storage.googleapis.com/2.13/chromedriver_win32.zip
Juste replace "C:\Program Files (x86)\SeleniumWrapper\chromedriver.exe" to 
update it.
I will include it in the next release of this VBA wrapper (1.0.24)

Hi florentbr

Just to let you know that the issue is still the same for both firefox (the 
version you recommended) and chrome.

I think there is a firewall is that causing the connection issue for chrome web 
browser.

btw, it is 32bit office and it is the latest chrome browser.

Now I need to figure out on how to disable the firewall.

no changes, the problem still exists. and it's not an firewall issue because 
the problem is still there while having the firewall disabled.
