Google Search (Google Now) not working. on P7310 #29

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Holding the home button and dragging the selector up the to Google now icon.
2.Touching the estimated arrival time in the notifications bar when it comes 
up, the app also crashes.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Google now should work and be usable, but the Google now app just opens for 
about two seconds and then just closes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Samsung Galaxy tab 8.9 (P7310) Running Cyanogenmod 10.1 Android 4.2.2

Please provide any additional information below.
I have tried re-downloading/re-flashing the CM rom and the Google apps, which 
did not help the issue.

You have to upgrade Google Search in the play store this will solve the problem!

I tried that, there is nothing to update to in the play store. I also un 
installed the app and re installed it from the play store, it still just stays 
open for about two seconds and closes.

Works fine on the P7300 on M2 build.

I have the same problem on my P7310. Google Now also crashes when I select the 
Google search widget. I have also tried the uninstall and reinstall and update 
process with no luck.

I have the same problem with my P7310 running CM 10.2. I have tried to 
reinstall and update the Google Search and Google Now Launcher.
