At least one iana-interface-types entry needed: ethernetPon to designate EPON-type interfaces, which have specific set of objects associated with MPCP operation Also, ethernetEfm (EFM = Ethernet in the First Mile) that includes xDSL and different asymmetric data rate media. These interface types share some characteristics of generic ethernetCsmacd interfaces, but there are other features which are specific and not needed in ethernetCsmacd interfaces.

As agreed, we will leave the generic ethernetCsmacd for use within the interface module. The ethernet module will define a new base type for ethernet interface and then add identities for different ethernet type interfaces (in a different module?).
