Hi! I'm using the same system and specs as you buy I cant boot using your EFI. I modified your config.plist with GenSMBios to get a unique serial number but I still cannot boot. Here are the logs generated: opencore-2023-09-14-125049.txt

@Avg-Enjoyer what Mac model did you use to get the smbios serial ?

Avg-Enjoyer commented 1 year ago

MacbookPro16,3 same as you

vladsendrix commented 1 year ago

I managed to go past the picker but then I'm faced with black screen, no apple logo. Also generated plist with MacbookPro16,3 and secureboot disabled.

@vladsendrix is your Laptop in hybrid mode? If not, try putting it on Hybrid mode.

Also make sure you generate your own SSDT

vladsendrix commented 1 year ago

I did both...unfortunately result is the same.

hi @Avg-Enjoyer @vladsendrix

i solve this by removing noteedred and more ktex, after installation on disk, install all ktex

833M0L3 commented 1 year ago

@akmaldira Great ! The kexts work after the installation is complete, then? Also , make sure to download the latest nootedred kext from it's official github repo, it has received many updates since I made this repo of my own.

@vladsendrix So, your solution did help a bit, earlier i used to crash on EB|LOG:EXITBS:START issue. I solved by using this KASLR guide after that i got this image: IMG_MJL_📷-Sharp- -Natural-🍀_20231003_105319

After deleting nootedred and booting again the apple logo shows and the progress bar goes for about 20 secs and then it force reboots to windows again. These are the error messages i'm getting: 222:302 00:407 AAPL: #[EB.MM.AKM|!] Err(0xE) <- EB.MM.MKP 222:385 00:082 AAPL: #[EB.LD.LKFS|-?] Err(0x9) 222:444 00:059 AAPL: #[EB.LD.LKC|D] <"System\Library\KernelCollections\BootKernelExtensions.kc.development"> 222:505 00:060 AAPL: #[EB.LD.OFS|OPEN!] Err(0xE) <"System\Library\KernelCollections\BootKernelExtensions.kc.development"> 222:570 00:064 AAPL: #[EB.LD.LKC|-?] Err(0xE) 222:628 00:058 AAPL: #[EB|WL] 0 0 0x01 0x01 22 0x0E 222:692 00:064 AAPL: #[EB.B.MN|!] Err(0xE) <- EB.LD.LKC 222:761 00:069 AAPL: #[EB|STOP] 0x14 222:823 00:061 AAPL: #[EB|H:IS] 0 222:886 00:063 AAPL: #[EB.G.CS|-?] Ok(0) IMG_MJL_📷-Sharp- -Natural-🍀_20231001_151243 Any advice?

hi @Avg-Enjoyer @vladsendrix

i solve this by removing noteedred and more ktex, after installation on disk, install all ktex

So basically I copy the EFI, configure the config.plist with MacBookPro16,3, then disabled NootedRed kext using ProperTree, i complete the installation and it reboots into usb into the Mac Installation and from there it gets stuck for now and keeps rebooting at the same verbose.

I disabled NootedRed and it installed fine, but at some point after installation it got suck at boot and neither enabling/disabling did anything to fix it. I even updated kexts and nothing worked, im too buzy to build another EFI from scratch atm.
