Collapseable Task list / Todo list on Home Screen

Imagine you have a task list on home page below widget. You simply add tasks and it will help you to review on periodic interval when you click expand.

The idea is to have simple collapeable Task list on Niagara Home screen after widget. Or we can left swipe and provide this feature.

The usefulness and effectiveness of this feature is very high. It shall be useful for everyone. This feature shall be offered to pro users only.

Benefits,

1. Quick use of tasklist on home screen itself by simple expand and collasp button.
2. People who are using task list widget, can use one more different widget.
3. Accesible on home screen makes user experience far better

Integrating some 3rd party app like Todoist could be interesting. They have an API at developer.todoist.com but I don't know how complicated it would be to use it. (For me personally adding a widget is enough though.)

Integration to third party is very good idea but here problem is, people are using various apps for task list. If you integrate with todoist, people will ask for other app integration as well.

My view is to provide basic simple plain text task list with checkbox. If task list option is enabled, 'Task list' or 'Tasks' or 'Todo list' shall be appear below widget.

You could also use Notification notes maker for this purpose as you can add notes directly from the notifications, which you can access from the swipe menu, like a mini widget.

Another solution is Droper. it feels like it's been made for Niagara.

To better plan ahead and give users an estimate of which features will be added to Niagara, we’ve decided to close all feature requests that are unlikely to be implemented in 2022. This is one of those, unfortunately. I'm sorry.

I would be glad if there was a way to show recurring/timed tasks in the calendar view whenever a task is due. I use tasks feature a lot with my Nextcloud calendar since I have ADHD and it helps me remember things.

So basically hoping to see the calendar support extend to tasks as well. I use Nextcloud calendar/tasks and DAVx5 to keep them in sync.

I would also love to see a task integration as I'm not happy with the available widgets. That's the only thing I currently miss in the calendar view.

It doesn't have to be a full-fledged task integration, it would be enough for me to just see upcoming tasks to keep myself better organized.

I also synchronize my tasks with DAVx5.
