Corrupted letters in app names #1566

Describe the bug There is some bug with apps names. They are a little bit corrupted. Looks like one upper line of letters image buffer is shifted to the bottom. Or something like it. Screenshots are attached. It disappears after scrolling out through app list. And appears again after switching back from other app screen. Changing size, style and font doesn't help.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open Niagara
  2. Press menu button to see recent apps
  3. Press home button to return to Niagara
  4. See the result in some letters 3.1. If you are returned to Favorites section, where clock is shown, clock's digits would also be corrupted, until time is updated, e.g. minutes incrementation occurs
  5. Scroll out currently displayed items
  6. Corruption disappears

Still occurs in v1.2.4.

Hey @netilynik & @2zqa, thank you both for reporting! I tried to reproduce this on my Samsung testing device (M31), but to no avail. To me, that sounds more like a system bug, but I can't say for sure. Does this also happen with other apps or when switching the font in Niagara Launcher?

As far as I know I haven't experienced this on other launcher apps, however I have mostly used Niagara launcher for the past year or two 😅

It is also not reproducible every time. I remember seeing this only a few times, say 3-5 times, in the history of using this app. If I ever experience it again I will be sure to report back. However, I predict that when changing the font, the issue will already have fixed itself. The issue seems to quickly go away after switching to any other view (app list, multitasking, settings probably as well).

Hello. Unfortunately any changes of font, wallpapers, font size, font style (bold) don't affect on appearance of the bug. The only hint I found is to change wallpaper to one with lot of details, it hides the big a bit)) I also suppose it is system bug

Upd. I, ve also noticed something similar playing sprites-based game. Some artefacts appeared instead of last line of a picture
