Is your feature request related to a problem?

Feature request is not related to a problem.

Describe the solution you'd like

Requesting the option to automatically theme the Niagara Dots around the assigned wallpaper on a users phone. Possibly an additional Niagara Dots icon set could be offered that would theme to the wallpaper colors instead of the colors of the app's icon.

Feature Request Procedure

Hi @sheiscandace, Thanks for sharing your suggestion with us. While we appreciate your suggestion, Atm we have no plans to offer alternate versions of Niagara dots that feature a single or material you color. Our primary focus is to keep the process simple for our users. However, we do plan to include an option that allows users to manually select the color of their dots, similar to how they can choose icons from an icon pack. See #1607

You can try this alternative:

To apply the pack: Go to Niagara settings -> Look -> Icon Pack -> Exported Icon Pack

Thank you for the suggestion. I've downloaded the app and it seems it no longer works with Samsung Galaxy Devices (from additional comments I've seen in the feedback page of the app).

When trying to customize the color of the Dot Icons, it remains multicolored. The app hasn't been updated since June of 2022.

Also a better way to format the text, for example, white with black outlines or vice versa.

Thank you for the suggestion. I've downloaded the app and it seems it no longer works with Samsung Galaxy Devices (from additional comments I've seen in the feedback page of the app).

When trying to customize the color of the Dot Icons, it remains multicolored.

Which device?

You don't have to customize the color, they are already set to adapt wallpaper color After Installing Icon Pack Studio, Simply tap on the second link -> Download -> Apply -> Once it's exported, tap on the notification to install the pack -> Go to Niagara settings -> Look -> Icon Pack -> Select Exported Icon Pack

Btw, I've forwarded the suggestion to our developers team to explore the feasibility of implementing this alternative version of Niagara dots.

Samsung Galaxy S22Ultra

I did see the color fill options offered 'wallpaper'. However, I did the steps you mentioned below and it displays the dots as the original icon's color. It didn't adapt to my wallpaper (completely different colors).

Thank you, Candace

Hi,

I've figured out how to use the customizations. It was user error on my part. This app works fine for my Galaxy S22Ultra. Thank you for your help.

Great that you were able to resolve it!

We are currently evaluating ways to make Niagara Dots more customizable. While I can't promise anything yet, matching the color to the wallpaper might become an option in the future!
