Default clock in widget stack #2289

Is your feature request related to a problem?

Widget stacks are great. However, they can't be hidden behind the default clock. Something similar can be accomplished by replacing the clock with a custom clock widget, and then stacking other widgets beneath. Unfortunately that option does not exist for users who prefer the default clock.

Describe the solution you'd like

The ability to create a widget stack beneath the default clock would help keep homepages clean and simple, and would be consistent with the already in-place capability to stack widgets beneath custom clock widgets.

I just wanted to oped a feature request with the same idea. Making the NiagaraWidget stackable would be great, because having a separate widget or stack beneath it takes up space that can't be used for favorites. I have two widgets that I don't need on my homescreen all the time, but would like to have a quick peek at from time to time.

Hi @naelcmnai, thank you for your suggestion. We greatly appreciate your feedback. I'm pleased to let you know that we have plans to make the Niagara clock widget stackable. However, please note that implementing this feature may take some time. We will keep you updated on our progress.

This is a feature I would like to see implemented. In keeping with design philosophy being able to create a widget stack which include the Niagara Widget maintains a streamlined and uncluttered UI and UX. So +1 to see this elevated in priority.

Well it's been quite some time but there haven't been any updates as @Amorphous404 specified. I'm surprised such a useful feature is on the back burner.

I echo what @nalawa63 mentioned, the whole widget is the magical part and not just the clock.

1+ for this. Would make adding widgets to the home screen possible for me as I find them an eye sore when I don't need them
