Describe the bug

It is not possible to set latitude and longitude using comma (text field does not accept such character). Values written with a dot are interpreted as an error. Tested on two devices (Pixel 4a5g and Lenovo Tab M10 3rd gen).

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to weather widget
  2. Choose Localization
  3. Set manually
  4. Write 56.2313 in latitude and 16.4321 in longitude
  5. Error

Hi @jablonm, Thank you for reaching out! Tried removing the colon ":" in the first text field box?

Actually there is no colon, it is a part of 3. Here is better example with all numbers on the screen. Screenshot_20230621-083506

Oh, thanks for clarifying! I've reported the issue to the devs! We'll update you once we know more about the issue.

Hi again,

Our development team is currently investigating the issue. I wanted to confirm something; I just noticed that you are connected to a VPN. Would you mind attempting to input the coordinates without connecting to it? In some cases, services such as VPN or DNS can hinder Niagara/Weather provider's ability to connect with their servers. Could you please verify if this might be the cause of the problem?

Thanks,

Hi, thank you for returning to me and investigating the issue. I have just tested again without VPN and unfortunately the same error occur. When I provide longitude and latitude with "." I get error that values need to be between -180 and 180 however I can't provide the same values using "," because nothing happen when I click on ",". For me it looks more like UI error then something connected with connection or VPN. Cheers, m
