Icon disappears and launcher becomes unresponsive

Describe the bug

When swiping up (back to home gesture), one app icon disappears and the launcher becomes completely unresponsive (alphabet stops working).

Steps to reproduce

1. With an active app, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to go back to home
2. The active app icon disappears behind the icon below
3. Niagara is unresponsive
4. Locking and unlocking the screen sometimes fixes the issue, sometimes not

Does the issue also occur with other 3rd-party launchers?

faced millions times this issue.Screen full blank and need to swipe back to get homescreen back. Mostly happen when exiting app from swipe app. Not sure though

It looks like the app list (alphabet) is there but invisible, somehow. Sadly this makes the launcher nearly unusable, it happens a lot.

The only way to get back to a functioning launcher is to lock and unlock my screen. Then the alphabet list appears. Swipe up and I am back to home screen with a functioning launcher.

Ok this screen recording, it really seems that somehow the app list with the alphabet is on, although not visible...

I click on the Maps app icon and it opens Econduce app, when I close the app you can see the alphabet appearing and the Econduce icon in the alphabet list is at the same place as the map icon in the home view...
