A place to submit feature requests and bug reports for Niagara Launcher, a modern + minimalist Android home screen optimized for one-✋ access and staying focused.
Hello. Right now, if you quickly double-tap the "Home" button, the home screen opens, but you can see from the animation that after the second tap, it starts showing the animation of opening the start screen again (I'm talking about the animation where the app list seems to slide down from the top).
To open the app list, you have to press the home button, wait for the animation, and only after this delay can you press the home button a second time.
It would be great if there were a setting to disable this animation. This way, while in any app, you could instantly launch the search by double-tapping the home button quickly.
Describe the solution you'd like
A quick double tap on the home button opens the home screen and immediately opens the search.
There is no delay after the first press of the home button, during which the next press of the home button simply reopens the home screen.
