Config -> Miscellaneous -> "Multirecord edit" is accidentally turned on. This shouldn't happen on a new startup without an existing FT2.CFG.
EDIT: Just tested it after deleting the %APPDATA%/FT2 clone
folder, this mode is still not enabled per default. Sounds like you activated it somehow...

Tested the option, now the edit works perfectly.
Re-downloaded the latest version of the build, it has this option disabled, so it seems I messed up my config :-)

Stupid question, might be a user error :-)
I'm using v1.68 build, fresh install.
I click space to edit, then start pressing buttons. Strangely, it is not recording a single block, but rather a diagonal pattern. See picture below, easier. Is that the intended behaviour? :-) Looks pretty strange to me.
