Padding option causes long launch times #93

Adding a padding to config files causes startup times to hang for a while. I'm using riverwm on Artix.

This is happening to me as well and also adding the padding option makes wayst use 76% of my feeble 3.3 GB ram while only using 2.5% ram without padding. I'm also on riverwm on arch

Using padding gives me segmentation fault.

Tested again on Sway to the same errors. The error also exists when running through XWayland.
