no device in fastboot devices

Finished building but when in u-boot in either USB_BOOT or regular u-boot i get no device host side with current u-boot 2018.

usb reset fastboot 0 <-device side

sudo fastboot devices <-host side nothing

also figured i would try my male to male usb cable (nvidia shield 2017 type connection) and tried all 3 usb ports with;

fastboot 0 fastboot 1 fastboot 2

nada wish i could test my android-tv builds someday on this device ;)

also tried fastboot x86 built binary and still no device

I am having the same issue, fastboot 0 sudo fastboot devices -nothing
