@sdrobertw the agreement for not blocking a build on external broken links was that you would regularly get them fixed. If this issue is not resolved within a week, I think that the link checker needs to go back to enforcing external links until they are all fixed.

I'm going back to enforcing checking of external links. There are now 35 broken external links and these need to be fixed before any more site updates are permitted.

This issue has been open since December.

The flag to ignore external broken links was added at your request on the understanding that "96Boards team will assess all broken third party links weekly and decide to fix, purge, or notify original contributor."

That isn't happening.

I will take you at your word that the broken links will be fixed within a week.

@Yang-96Boards Do I need to re-enable the blocking of any changes to the site until broken links are fixed? I am concerned that deprecating broken links to "warnings" means that nobody is taking any time to look at fixing them.

I'm closing this issue. It has been replaced by #1320 and will be followed up by additional issues listing broken links whenever the site is built.
