I have a suggestion about the new feature. Sometimes you share not only concrete sounds or album links. Sometimes you wanna invite all people you know to enjoy the new band that you been found in the daily audio stream.

First of acquaintance with this bot in telegram started with silence (from a bot) when I tried to send the link to the artist or band. And I'm been frustrated for 2 or more minutes with thoughts like "What I'm doing wrong?".

Artist or band in my context this is the main page in streaming services where you can find all information (Albums, Sounds, History, and e.t.c.) about artist or band. Then you see "artist" or "band" or "artist or band" I mean exactly this (the main page).

My suggestion:

• When the user tries to send the link to the band or an artist, the bot must send or replace (when we talk about groups and chats where the bot has added) a text message with the link to the band.
• Or if band or artist searching not supported by the bot, It sending a small text message with information about "Searching for the artists doesn't support. Try to send me a link to the album or sound (track)".
• (Optional) If the bot did not found this artist, they send back a small text message. This message contains the list of services where the bot doesn't found this artist.

IMHO this gives feedback to the new users and increases the probability of adding this bot to the chat or Pin in personal chat lists.

@vangogih as you can know, this bot uses Odesli.co. And this service doesn't support artists pages. So, if Odesli has no artist pages — bot will not, I guess.

Example with regular search:

As you can notice, there are only "Songs", "Albums" and "Podcasts" tabs, no "Artists".

Therefore, Odesli supports search by URL, like this: https://odesli.co/https%3A//deezer.page.link/F9opQRogD8ZQ8fBb8

You can see redirect and song page. But it doesn't work with artist's URL: https://odesli.co/https%3A//www.deezer.com/us/artist/469495

So…

By the way, I can agree about not supported links or not found. But, probably, it already covered by #13.

But! I've checked right now and didn't see messages. I think that issue should be re-opened.

Yeah, since the bot is just an interface to odesli.co, there is no sane way to support this feature. Sorry about that.

As for the bot's replies, I'm not sure such replies should eat up attention in group chats, though they make sense for tet-a-tet and inline modes.
