Before v1.0 it's probably a good idea to migrate from the more restrictive GPLv3 to the GPLv2 license. This will allow more compatibility with other licenses.

abNinjam uses part of the [original Ninjam code](https://github.com/justinfrankel/ninjam/), which is licensed under GPLv2. Binary releases therefore have to be under the same license as well (IANAL).
