It would be great to be able to upload svg image files to the media gallery without haven't to use ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS in wp-config.php or using a plugin.

If an SVG site logo is uploaded in Customizer, it will display in the header but not the footer.
Temp workaround is to upload a footer image if an SVG custom logo is used.
