The Sersic indexes and axis ratios in the catalog are sampled from empirical distributions that are redshift dependent. In the analogous work of Schreiber+2017, there is a correlation between Sersic i…

Hello again,
I've been trying to sample the posterior as done in your examples, and I was wondering if there was a way to have the chains run in parallel? I got thrown a warning saying:

Hello,
I am using AutoProf v0.7.3 to fit Sersic profiles to a set of galaxies with the Levenberg-Marquardt fitting method. I run into the issue that a large portion of my sample has a fitted axis r…

- this is likely due to an issue with my psf
- add more galaxies for the comparison (I've done only 19/31 for NRGs27)
- repeat for MKW8 field
- could also be an issue with combining images with dif…

Target types other than point source can be specified at the moment, but if you specify a 2d sersic, there is currently no way to specify size, position angle, sersic index, etc.

Right now, the non-lens catalog consists of single Gaussian SDSS galaxies. Would like to use DC2 data to replace them with multiple Sersic galaxies.

Sersic function changes quickly at the center for large Sersic indexes. This makes the function very steep at the center. To correct this, pixels near the center of the model must be oversampled.

Add ability to measure quantitative morphology to `Image`. E.g.
- half-light radius
- simple Sersic fitting
- CAS + Gini parameters
-
it a straight line/polynomial/power law/gaussian chi^2 min to a 2D scatter plot.
- fit a Sersic profile to a galaxy image
EG: Markwardt fitting table, matplotlib, modeling - NADIA. + staff/stude…
