On the very first purchase, it seems `edd_earnings_total` in the options table is doubling the amount. Subsequent purchases are fine

We have 140 bad credit cards in our database, out of 929 total. That's 15%! Ouch! :(
What's going on? What can we do to prevent failures in the future and recover from failures we're already seeing?

It's safer to not send the email and key over the wire for every call. Better to use a hash on both ends. Don't use email. Use two unique strings.
