Hi, the demo doesn't work. It allows me to upload the images, but when I mark a path the images disappear and it shows an error.

It would be nice to have one (or even more) `demo_device.py` and `demo_plan.py` (outside of the tests folder).
I would also remove the "aps-dependent" device so we can test this repo anywhere.

@darkskygit reference to #6141 does not address this issue. Disabling sign-up does not disable the demo workspace.
Anyone with the url of the selfhosted instance is able to use the demo workspace.…
