Hi PromeG,
I had used XLog for a little while and it had been great until I upgrade my Android Studio 1.3.o with gradle veresion 1.3.0 and targert to API 23.
Here is the error message that may help…

AndroidApplication.initializeForView() did not setup needed variables that
causes crash if one uses it.
Patch fixes the issue.
