The admin interface allows us to create QC categories with a parent-child relationship, for example this can be useful if wanting to split a category by beam energy:
 results files via URL could take significant (>10s) time on slow connections (i.e. LTE). Users see just static app state and are not sure if yaptide is downloading the results.
