@xir4n, any plan to update the library to support numpy v2.
It seems like `dtcwt/numpy/transform1d.py` uses `asfarray` which has been removed - see below

Thanks for such a convenient framework! Is there anyway or method to implement DTCWT to 1-D signals? Also, does DTCWT has advantage over DWT in signal processing?

The _shape_ argument to `dtcwt.sampling.rescale{,_highpass}` is a two-element sequence even if, as in the case of `dtcwt.sampling.rescale_highpass`, the input is three-dimensional.
The documentation …

Hi all,
Some discussions on implementing the dual-tree complex wavelet transform in PyWavelets occurred in #58 , but let me restate some things:

Some questions came up after the review of #49 (which closed #48):
- should the theoretical bound be `T * (2**J)` or half of that? (i think it's half)

@scf32 notes that the some tasks need to be done for `dtcwt` to be useful to him. I have reproduced them below:

Is there any particular reason for the highpass sampling functions to return M x N x 6 x 6 arrays instead of M x N x 6?
I am only interested because my code is calling upon this quite a lot and havi…
