StuntRally.exe has stopped working.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Opened the start menu and clicked on the Stunt Rally program.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The game window opens and crashes while "Loading, please wait..." is displayed. 
The loading bar at this point is filled up all the way.

What version are you using? On what operating system?
Stunt Rally 1.8 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

A message pops up that says the following:

I have installed the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable and DirectX 
provided with the game.

Could you unplug all your joysticks and gamepads ?
Try without them, then if it works plug in just one. I think it will crash for 
more.

I tried your suggestion. It turns out the game doesn't like one of the two dual 
controller adapters I had plugged in. The game doesn't crash now. This issue is 
fixed.
