Currently LibertyBans uses its own format for parsing JSON format, which can be confusing for new users as it combines the Legacy(&) format with its own system for parsing Click and Hover Events.
My suggestion is to add support for the MiniMessage format, which is used by several famous plugins, plus it is declarative(<red> == &c), so you know what format you are using at all times (unlike the Legacy format), which is more user friendly, plus it has an in-browser editor
