Review of new search interface (AND/OR)

• • change labels for "Add group", "add condition"
• a better way to indicate that toggle is on vs off for AND/OR
• • support for list based searches (ie, list of primary ID's)

Review of Sanger workflow

• On Select Samples Page, add both single Arrow for move 1 and double arrow buttons for move all -- Ability to re-order the sample list on the right hand panel once selected
• Storage field on PCR Batch tab should be storage layout
• Ability to use more then 1 primer combo on select PCR Reactions (overwriting the PCR Batch primers)
• on the Select Coordinates tab - label all cell locations with A1, A2, A3, etc.. Also do this on the PCR Worksheet that is generated and the SEQ Batch layouts
• Another use case for PCR Clones to be saved as Material samples ( need to follow up with Ron for more specifics for this piece)

I had some comments/suggestions I completely forgot to include yesterday re: label printing!

1. Someone suggested a way to print multiple labels with one click. Not everyone felt this was needed, but I wanted to include.

   • Ex. you have filtered for all the labels you need but you need 4 copies. So instead of clicking "print" four times, could there be a way to select "four" and then print them all at once?

2. Could there be a way to couple the state with the printer?

   • Ex. Some states require different label templates (LN vs FD vs. FD bag are the most common), but we often need them simultaneously. In order to do this, we must change the printer options between each state, which can be quite finicky.
   • Is it possible to have the printer know what label to print for every state and just hit "print" once (vs. having to change the templates and search filters to print the next label kind?)

Hi Emily,

1. It depends how it is represented. You could still print 4 copies in the printer dialog. If you would like to have 1 page but with 4 times the same label it's different. We would need a way to let you have the same records more than once.

2. DINA is using the print options of your browser, it is not aware of the available printers. It won't have access to the different options of the printers. It may be possible to achieve that using another way (browser plugin or another app) but DINA is only producing labels as opposed to printing labels.
