Types of queries that DINA can answer? #352

Hi Everyone,

I have been waiting a while to express more concretely the queries that I am not sure I understand how DINA will be able to answer. My uncertainty is based on the data model of no separate "parent" record that has all the details. When we get to a place where this can be demonstrated I would love to see how the developers think the following questions can be answered by doing a search and summary from DINA.

Questions for DINA data model.

How many unique strains do I have from Canada? How many PPC2 strains have been sent out to clients? How many viable strains of Monilinia are there? (items that are cultured and alive) What do I have that was isolated from oats?

From meeting on Feb 9th 2023:

How many unique strains do I have from Canada?

Material Samples doesn't have the search option for Locality, David has added a ticket for this

Claudia: if we have some material Sample with verbatim locality and other records with Open street maps, is it one search or two? Christian: it will be one search but its not available yet.
